Terms of Service
Effective 2026-07-06
1. Acceptance of these Terms
Spanish for Bolivia is operated by Spanish for Real Life (“we”, “us”, the “Company”), based in Canada. By creating an account or using our website or app (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
Spanish for Bolivia teaches practical, Bolivia-specific Spanish through interactive lessons, roleplay, and feedback. The Service is a language-learning product only. It does not provide legal, immigration, tax, financial, investment, medical, or real-estate advice, and nothing in the Service should be relied on as such. Where a lesson touches a real-world process (renting an apartment, visiting a government office, opening a bank account, buying property, and similar situations), it teaches vocabulary and cautious questions, not conclusions, always verify specifics with the appropriate licensed professional or official authority.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Passes and purchases
Some parts of the Service are, or will be, available only with a paid, one-time “pass” (for a single goal, or for all goals). Passes are one-time purchases, not subscriptions: once purchased, a pass does not expire and is not billed again. When purchases are live, payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle handles your payment details, invoicing, and applicable sales tax/VAT; we never see or store your full card number. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial language learning. Do not attempt to circumvent access controls, scrape or redistribute lesson content, interfere with the Service’s operation, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual property
All lesson content, exercises, and course structure are owned by the Company or its licensors and are provided for your personal learning use only. Purchasing a pass gives you a license to use that content within the Service, it does not transfer ownership or any right to copy, resell, or redistribute it.
7. No professional advice, verify, do not rely
Content that touches property, immigration, banking, employment, or family/legal situations in Bolivia is written to teach language and cautious verification habits, never conclusions. The Service never tells you whether a document, price, contract, or transaction is valid, fair, or safe. Always confirm with the appropriate professional (notario, abogado, official registry, licensed advisor, and similar) before acting on anything real.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made in reliance on real-world situations discussed in lessons.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as described in the Refund Policy.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
