Bolivia situation guide

Finding your way in a hospital

A hospital can be confusing on arrival: there is a separate emergencias entrance, an admisión desk where an admisionista registers you, a triaje step where staff sort patients, and a sala de espera. This mission gives you the navigation and admin phrases to move through that, asking where emergencias is, where to do admisión, and who can orientar you, and explaining whether you’re the paciente or an acompañante. It is not about emergency decision-making: deciding how urgent a situation is, or what counts as triaje priority, is always the staff’s call, not yours and not the app’s. Your job is to get to the right desk and let the professionals take it from there.
