Bolivia situation guide

Presenting your case

A good case is short and factual: who you are, how you work and live, and what proof you can show. In this mission you practise saying these in plain Spanish and then asking which document fits each point, for example, “I work independently” or “I entered Bolivia on [date]”. Use placeholder ideas in your head, never real income, address, or personal figures in the app. End by inviting the office to tell you what is missing. The app helps you ask and verify with officials; it gives no legal advice and stores no real personal data.

Essential vocabulary

  • caso: case The word for your personal situation when you explain it
  • trabajo independiente: independent work / self-employment A common way to describe how you earn a living
  • ingresos: income You may be asked about income, know the word, share no real figures
  • domicilio: address / residence The formal word for where you live, practise, don’t enter real data
  • documentación: documentation You mention what proof you can show, then ask what fits
  • respaldo: backup / supporting proof Used in “documentación de respaldo”, supporting documents

Bolivian Spanish terms

  • sin relación de dependencia: without employment dependency / not an employee Formal phrase for self-employed; useful if asked how you work
  • declaración jurada: sworn statement A common document name to ask about, let them say if it applies

Useful phrases

  • Le explico mi caso.: I'll explain my case. Open a short, factual account of your situation
  • Trabajo de forma independiente.: I work independently. Describe how you earn in one neutral line
  • Tengo documentación de respaldo.: I have supporting documentation. Signal you can show proof without listing private data
  • ¿Qué documento sirve para este punto?: Which document works for this point? Ask which proof fits each requirement
  • ¿Necesita algo más sobre mi caso?: Do you need anything else about my case? Invite the office to ask for what is missing
